Ray Dobbin, P. Eng. incorporated R. Dobbin Engineering Inc. in 2005. Ray saw the demand and need to provide Civil Engineering services to the local area after retiring from the Township of Enniskillen. He has since built a successful business using his knowledge and invaluable experience, and with the help of a motivated team!
Bill Van Ruitenburg joined the firm in March 2010, bringing his skills in surveying, drafting, site plan development and residential subdivision development.
R. Dobbin Engineering Inc. purchased the building located at 4218 Oil Heritage Road in Petrolia that has served as their offices since May 2011.
Dani Mezzatesta joined the firm in August 2012, bringing his skills in surveying, drafting and construction inspection, further increasing the firm’s abilities to complete projects from inception to completion.
A GPS survey unit was purchased in the spring of 2013 to strengthen the firm’s in-house survey capabilities. An ATV was also purchased to perform topographic surveys over large areas (including gravel pits) and establishing drainage areas.
Ken Graham, P. Eng. joined R. Dobbin Engineering Inc. in March 2014, bringing his experience in municipal infrastructure including municipal drains, culverts, sewers & watermain, bridge rehabilitations as well as storm water management, contract administration and project management.
Josh Warner, P. Eng. joined the firm in May 2015 bringing his training and co-op experience to assist with surveys, preparation of municipal drainage reports, storm water management and project management.
Teresa joined the firm in November 2016 bringing her experience in the industrial field to perform accounting and office functions.
Jim Willis rounded out the R. Dobbin Engineering team when he joined the firm in May of 2017, bringing his years of surveying and Inspecting experience.
Continued growth has seen the firm complete projects in the fields of asset management, bridge & culvert inspections, sanitary pumping stations, stormwater management, storm & sanitary sewers, watermains, subdivisions, developments and road reconstruction.
